MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) _ Police in Manitowoc took a man into custody after a search of his home next door to Lincoln High School turned up laboratory equipment for making methamphetamine.
And that's not all.
Police say they also found a number of firearms, including three handguns and an assault rifle.
The lab equipment and chemicals for making meth were not in use at the time of the search yesterday afternoon.
The man is expected to make his initial appearance Monday in Manitowoc County Circuit Court.

The only way to truly clean up our streets and stop exposing our communities to the dangers of meth labs is to end the ridiculous war on drugs. Legalize and heavily regulate these substances and there will never be anymore meth labs in neighborhoods. Meth is just today's bath tub gin. Wake up america the war on drugs is the problem not the solution.
