New leads and information continue streaming in even after the Wausau Police Department's announcement of an arrest in the murder of Rhonda Mertes nearly 7 1/2 years ago.

So many leads have come in following word of James Emerson's arrest, that investigators have set up a special hotline looking for more clues.

Wausau Police Detective Cord Buckner says even if you have information that you may not think is important, when small details are pieced together, they can often lead to new clues.

The new Ronda Mertes Tip Line is (715) 261-7TIP (7847).

Police say you can leave information without revealing your identity or choose to speak to a detective.
