Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Share Your Holidays Choir at the Grand Theater in Wausau on Monday. All proceeds will go to the Neighbor's Place and The Salvation Army. The concert, which featured choirs from Park Falls High School, Antigo High School, Marshfield High School, Wausau East High School and Wausau Pro Musica, will be broadcast on NewsChannl 7 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Also, thank you to everyone who helped make the morning of Friday, Dec. 7 a success. NewsChannel 7 personalities pumped gas at the Schofield Avenue Shell, 3001 Schofield Ave., to those who donated a canned good or a money donation for Share Your Holidays. More than $798 was raised and it's estimated that nearly three times as much food was taken in than in 2006. Thank you very much!
In the meantime, keep checking back for further details, including a list of items most in need. For any other questions, e-mail Jeff Thelen at jthelen@wsaw.com.
Together, we can make Christmastime a bit better for needy families in Northcentral Wisconsin.
