Lac du Flambeau Business a Total Loss

Updated: 08/24/2006 - The fire at Placid Woods Company in Lac du Flambeau is now being called a total loss. Lac du Flambeau's fire chief, Paul Harris, says it happened about 11:45 Wednesday (Aug. 23) night on County Road F near Highway 70. As of about 6:05 a.m. Thursday (August 24, 2006), the Vilas County Sheriff's Department is saying the huge fire there is pretty much out.
