Worldwide Knit in Public Day is Saturday, June 14th, and one local knit shop has the local community taking part in the event here in Wausau.
Beth Paustian, owner of the Black Purl in Wausau, explained how this event came to be and how the local community is taking part. Knitting has become more of a modern craft, and people everywhere are striving to have people of all ages participate.
