Many of you have World Cup fever. Even those of you who aren't huge soccer fans are flocking to local sports bars to catch the action.
From diehard fans to some rookies, local sports bars saw plenty of action for the pivotal U.S. Men's National Soccer Team battle against Germany.
While an 11:00 am start time isn't ideal for the average working man, Coach Klinsmann issued an excused absence note for anyone looking to get out of work to watch the match.
"Yeah, we're taking a long lunch, as long as it takes to watch the game," Alan Grisenti said.
"I actually work second shift so I'm heading to work after the game is over so this was a great time for me to actually get a chance to watch the game," fan, Elijah Dial said, "I missed the first two but this is really just a big deal to me."
"We ditched work with boss approval, to come watch but, I'm a big fan," Taylor Scharfenberg said.
Fans are hoping Coach Klinsmann issues another 'excused from work' note for upcoming games. If not, maybe their bosses will understand.
