Woman Stabbed Multiple Times in Madison Home

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say a Madison woman was stabbed multiple times in her upper body. Now her live-in boyfriend is in custody.

Madison police say they were called to the woman's home on the city's far east side early Sunday, and found the woman with multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to a local hospital and is undergoing surgery. Police say the woman is in her 30s and is in stable condition.

Police arrested her 40-year-old boyfriend. The investigation is ongoing.
