A 67-year-old woman has died after driving her car off a boat ramp in Door County.
According to a Green Bay newspaper, the woman was driving to the hospital to pick-up her husband when she reportedly became lost.
A passerby noticed a vehicle submerged in the water just after 11 am Saturday at Quarter Deck Marina, south of Sturgeon Bay. It is unclear when the accident happened, but the woman had been see the day before.
Emergency responders pulled the woman’s body from the vehicle, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the woman's name but have said she is from Algoma.
