Woman Charged in Connection to Boyfriend's Overdose Death Pleads Not Guilty

The girlfriend of a Wausau man who overdosed on heroin will head to trial.

Nycole Creed, 33, is accused of buying heroin and giving it to Thomas Knickerbocker leading to his overdose death on March 11. Wednesday in Marathon County Court she pleaded not guilty to delivering heroin.

According to the criminal complaint, Creed purchased heroin from Lucas Zuehlke on March 10. Zuehlke is charged with Knickerbocker's death. He remains behind bars on a $100,000 and will return to court June 5.

Court document state Creed worked with police in an undercover buy leading to the arrest of Zuehlke.

Creed remains behind bars on $7,500 signature bond and $2,500 cash bond.

She'll return to court June 12.
