A 40-year-old woman has died following a snowmobile crash Monday night in Vilas County.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Department, the victim failed to negotiate a curve and rolled down an embankment in the Town of St. Germain. The victim died of internal injuries.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
The woman's name is not being released at this time. She was a resident of Morton, IL.
