Wisconsin Valley Fair Starts Tuesday in Wausau

The Wisconsin Valley Fair begins at Marathon Park, located at 1201 Stewart Ave., Wednesday, July 29. Grandstand entertainment is nightly 7:30 p.m. Reserved ticket prices are $25.

2014 Fair Admission:
Daily Admission before Noon (11 years+): $5
Daily Admission after Noon (11 years+): $9
Senior Citizen Discount day Friday: $7
Age 10 and under: FREE

Admission does not include parking. Daily parking passes are $6, or season passes are $18.

Tuesday, July 29
Fair opens at noon
All rides open at 4 p.m.
Unlimited rides for $23 from 4 -10 p.m.
Josh Thompson at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 30
Exhibit judging begins at 9 a.m. At UW-Fieldhouse
Junior Fair horse show at 11 a.m.
Raptor Education Group Demonstrations at East Gate Hall: 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Thomas Rhett at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 31
Unlimited rides for $25 from noon to 10 p.m.
Junior Fair horse show and judging at 8 a.m.
Rabbit, dairy and beef judging at 8:30 a.m.
Skillet at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, August 1
Senior Citizen Day
Admission reduced to $7 for attendees 62 year and older
4-H judging 8 a.m. To 9 a.m.
Unlimited rides for $20; noon to 5 p.m. And 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Theory of a Deadman at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 2
4-H Alumni Day
Junior Fair horse show and judge at 8 a.m.
Market animal show and sale at 11 a.m.
Marathon Co. Dairy Heifer Project Sale at 8 p.m.
4-H alumni day celebration 3-5 p.m. At tent near youth building
Joe Nichols at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, August 3
Draft horse invitational at 10:30 a.m. In Grandstand
Cat show in the judging pavilion at 11 a.m.
Little britches competition at noon
Animals leave barn at 3 p.m.
Demolition derby at 5:30 p.m. (Adults $5, kids 12 and under $2)
Unlimited rides for $23 from noon to 8 p.m.
