Wisconsin DNR Hires 11 Wildlife Technicians

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The state Department of Natural Resources has hired 11 new wildlife technicians.

The workers will be stationed around the state. They'll focus on habitat creation and preservation, public recreation, wildlife population monitoring and handling public contacts.

The new employees include Darren Ladwig, who will be stationed at the Richard Bong State Recreation Area; Drew Hawley at the Crex Meadows Wildlife Area; Kenneth Pemble in Florence County; Aaron Wright in Green Bay; Tomas Carlson in Merrill; Brandon Braden in Shiocton; Andrew Bubolz in Oshkosh; Andrew Krsnich in Plymouth; Ryan Brathal in Babcock; Kevin Rhein in Waukesha County; and Lori Wienke in Eau Claire.
