MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Halloween lovers will get a chance to learn about the holiday's origins and listen to scary stories at a historical stagecoach inn in southeastern Wisconsin next weekend.

Wade House is offering an autumn celebration on Saturday and Sunday. The itinerary calls for talks about the origin of Halloween, 19th-century games, hot cider, a horse-drawn wagon ride, pumpkin carving and scary stories in a candlelit sawmill.

Admission is $11 for adults, $5.50 for children and $9.25 for students and senior citizens. Tickets for families consisting of two adults and two or more children cost $30.

Wade House is an 1860s-era stagecoach inn located in Greenbush, just west of Plymouth. The site includes a working sawmill and a museum.
