UPDATE: Stolen Car Case Turns to Arson

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is still investigating a vehicle arson case, but say so far they do not have a suspect.

Police say a 1999 red Grand Am was stolen from the NewPage parking lot between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12. The vehicle was found two days later burned on Marsh Road in the Town of Seneca.

A vehicle theft late Sunday night in Wisconsin Rapids is now an arson case after police say they located the car torched.

The car was stolen from the NewPage parking lot between 9 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Jan. 12.

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a vehicle that was believed to be stolen late Sunday night.

The vehicle is described as a red 1999 Pontiac Grand Am 4-Dr car with a Wisconsin License Plates 134-RBW.

Police say the car was taken from a parking lot in the area of 5th Ave North near Brown Street in Wisconsin Rapids.
