Wis. Rapids Fire Causes $1,000 in Damage to Coffee Shop

The owner of a Wisconsin Rapids coffee shop said a fire Wednesday afternoon caused about a $1,000 in damage. Bob Schultz, owner of From the Ground Up, tells NewsChannel 7 the fire started in a coffee roaster.

Crews were paged to 250 West Grand Avenue around 1 p.m.

The shop will remain closed Wednesday, but is expected to reopen Thursday.
