WONEWOC, Wis. (AP) -- A 64-year-old man has died after falling from a tree stand in south-central Wisconsin over the weekend.

Sauk County sheriff's authorities say Albin Ennis of Wonewoc was working on a tree stand in the Town of Woodland when he fell about 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

An emergency crew took Ennis to Reedsburg Area Medical Center. The Wisconsin State Journal reports the sheriff's office says Ennis died of his injuries several hours later.
