The Adams County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a 27-year-old man who died early Wednesday morning during a single vehicle accident.
According to a news release, a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Hatcher, 27 of Wisconsin Dells, was traveling northbound on County Highway Z near Fern Ave, east of Mauston, when it entered the ditch, struck a tree and overturned.
Hatcher was fatally injured in the crash, and was pronounced dead on the scene by the Medical Examiner.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be a factor in the crash.
