The Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua is one of The Northwoods biggest tourist destinations, and each season they add new attractions as well as new animals. This year is no exception, as the park is adding several new animals as well as a brand-new interactive center for families to learn about animals from all over the world.
The 2014 season brings with it new lemurs, a bintroung from Mongolia, and an aoudad from Africa. The park has also acquired a brand new giraffe which is now on display.
Wildwood will debut a brand new Educational Center in June. It will feature an interactive bee hive as well as many other exhibits where people can learn about animals.
Many of the improvements made to the park were made possible by individual and corporate donors.
