According to Travel Wisconsin, much of Wisconsin is at peak for fall color. But you're probably wondering why do the leaves change colors this time of year? I found some experts who maybe able to answer that question for us.
"Cause they have chlorophyll and they need water and sunshine to keep the green on them," said Sara, who is a first grader. Matthew said, "When it snows, it covers up the ground and water can't get to the roots and it won't make the chlorophyll so then it fades away and you can see the pretty colors."
