More fast food workers will be returning to the picket line around the nation Thursday in an effort to raise their wages.
Members of Wisconsin Jobs Now will be protesting outside Wendy's in Weston starting at noon, and Hardee's in Wausau at 1 p.m.
Joining the protesters in Weston will be congressional hopeful Kelly Westlund, the Democratic candidate for Wisconsin's 7th District.
Westlund has frequently slammed incumbent Republican Representative Sean Duffy for not doing enough to help working Wisconsinites.
Westlund says workers who are paid well will reinvest in the local economy.
