This afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking part in a special pep rally and presented the NewsChannel 7 Boys Basketball Coach of the Year award.
Our panel of coaches pull the hat trick for Auburndale's Chad Weinfurter who led the 25-1 5th ranked Apaches to a trip to Madison.
Weinfurter jokingly said it was good to see me this year, in a year they actually make it to state, where as the last two years he was coming off early playoff exits.
The 52nd NewsChannel 7 Boys Basketball All-Stars will be announced on Tuesday March 19. And the girls will be unveiled on Wednesday March 20.
