A benefit fund has been established for a family who lost their everything Saturday night in a fire.
According to the Rothschild Police Department, firefighters were called to a home on the 400 block of Frances Street around 11:50 pm Saturday for the report of a house fire.
The home is rental property, and the family was out of town at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but the State Fire Marshall and Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation were called to help investigate.
A benefit has been set up at Marathon Saving Bank in Wausau. To make a donation tell the teller it is for the “Tammy Thorn Benefit” account.
