A sixty-one-year old Wausau woman was injured after an ATV crash Sunday evening in about 15 miles northeast of Merrill in the Town of Russell. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says Linda Schoessow was traveling on a trail near 1st Ave and County Rd X when she struck a tree.
Schoessow was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. She was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The Town of Russell Fire Department and First Responders also responded to the crash.
The Recreation Deputy is investigating the crash.
