WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Wausau West High School is set to host the eighth annual National Archery in the Schools Program Wisconsin state tournament next week.
NASP is an archery curriculum for students from fourth grade on. The state Department of Natural Resources says more than 500 Wisconsin schools teach it.
The tournament is set for April 4 and April 5. It's open to any student or school that has offered NASP this year. Students compete for individual and team awards and can qualify for the NASP national tournament in Louisville, Ky.
The NASP world tournament is scheduled to be held in Madison in July.
