Two Marathon County fire departments will be giving away smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors on Saturday, October 27.
The detectors will be available until supplies run out at both the Weston Fire station at 5303 Mesker Street from 10 am to noon, and the Wausau Fire station at 606 E. Thomas Street from 9 am to 11 am. Families will have the option of selecting either a smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector.
