Wausau Theft Suspect Leaves Behind Driver's License

An arrest warrant has been issued for retail theft suspect after investigators say she left behind a wallet, containing a drivers license and Social Security card.

According the Wausau Police Department incident report, officers responded to a business on the 300 block of Washington Street for the report of a shoplifter around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the 24-year-old female suspect fled the scene when a security officer arrived.

The suspect is being referred to the District Attorneys Office on charges of Retail Theft-Intentionally Remove a Theft Detection Device, and bail jumping.
