Wausau Police have a warning about a sex offender who the say have violated his parole.
Officers say 33-year old Keith Apfel is wanted for a parole violation of child fondling.
Wausau Police Deputy Chief, Brian Hilts says, "At this point we want Keith Apfel. He is wanted for two burglaries and one of those is involving the theft of a firearm. Apfel is also wanted by the Department of Correcetions for not registering to the sex offender list."
According to online court records, he was convicted of 4th degree sexual conduct in michigan in 2010.
If you know where Apfel is, do not attempt to approach him, call the police instead.
Officers say he should be consider armed and dangerous.
