Wausau Pilots Share Experiences at EAA Airventure

Whether it is catching the latest and greatest in aircraft technology, or honoring aviation history, The EAA Airventure in Oshkosh has something for everyone to enjoy. For members of the Wausau Chapter of the EAA, having the show so close to home makes the show even more exciting.

"There are people here from all over the world, they travel weeks to get here, and we are an hour drive. It's just incredible." says Wausau EAA President Steve Kreueger.

For more than a decade, the members of the Wausau EAA have used the air show as a chance to come together as friends. They camp out for the week, and enjoy spending time with other flight enthusiasts.

"Probably the most fun for us is meeting new people. Camping in the evenings, sitting around and talking about what you learned today." Kreuger says.

For now, the Wausau EAA hopes others from Central Wisconsin will consider making the short trip to see the largest airshow in the world.
