A 27-year-old Wausau man arrested during a Jan. 17 prostitution sting has reached a plea deal and is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
Brandon Crum pleaded no contest delivering amphetamine and possessing amphetamine. As result, three charges; including patronizing prostitutes was dismissed, but will be considered during Crum's sentencing.
According to court documents, Crum responded to an ad on backpage.com. The ad was posted by an undercover officer. Investigators say Crum had couple hundred dollars worth of meth in his vehicle at the time of his arrest. According to court documents, Crum told investigators it was worth $275.
The plea deal consolidated two of Crum's open criminal cases.
