The city of Wausau is inviting the public to an open house Wednesday for input on the preliminary redevelopment plans for the East Riverfront District, a former industrial area located just north of downtown along the Wisconsin River.
An open house is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Grand Theater's Greenheck Lounge on the Second Floor.
The open house will include exhibits describing plans for the East Riverfront District with multiple opportunities for the public to offer thoughts, opinions and suggestions to the City on what they think. Project representatives from Stantec, the City's consultant, will also be on hand to answer questions and help facilitate feedback.
The website features photos of future business development and also allows the public to voice their input.
