Waupaca Co. Man Facing Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

The Waupaca Police Department says a 24-year-old rural Ogdensburg man is in custody facing several drug charges after a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.

According to a press release, officers stopped Larry McKenzie around 2 a.m. For an equipment violation.

Police discovered 17 grams of cocaine, 30.7 grams of marijuana, 75 tablets of Alprazolam, $335 in cash along with several items of drug paraphernalia.

Police are recommending McKenzie be charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a prescription drug with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating after suspension.
