WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) -- Police have made an arrest in the killing of a convenience store clerk in Waukesha.
Officers from the City of Brookfield and the Village of Elm Grove arrested the male suspect within about 24 hours of the killing. He remains in custody while the investigation continues.
Police have recovered a handgun from a Waukesha home that is being examined at the Wisconsin Crime Lab.
The victim, 56-year-old Nayyer Rana, was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at the Petro Mart gas station before 4:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Police suspect robbery may have been the motive.
