An arrest warrant has now been issued for a 29-year-old Plover man accused of attacking and biting the nose of another man.
Investigators responded to the emergency room of St. Michael's hospital on Feb. 17 for party that had numerous injuries including many cuts to his face.
The man said he attempted to break up a verbal argument between Joseph Kettenbeil and and woman when Kettenbeil reportedly “snapped”, according to court documents.
The alleged victim said Kettenbeil was on top of him and began punching him. That's when the man said he attempted to choke Kettenbeil and Kettenbeil bit the his nose.
The man told officers Kettenbeil pushed him into a 30 gallon fish tank, causing it to shatter. The alleged victim said before Kettenbeil left the home he stole an unloaded gun and several cellphones.
The man thought Kettenbeil reportedly stole the phone so he would not be able to call 911.
Joseph Kettenbeil is expected to be charged with mayhem, theft, criminal damage to property, intimidating a victim, and causing mental harm to child.
