UPDATE: $5,100 Raised at Treyden Kurtzweil Benefit Rummage Sale

The organizer of a Weston rummage sale benefiting the Kurtzweil family, says $5,100 was made during the three-day event.

Tracey Smith-Bauer says she wants to thank everyone who volunteered their time and brought donations.

A second fundraiser is in the works, although dates and times have not yet been set.

A rummage sale and bake sale to benefit Treyden Kurtzweil began Thursday morning in Weston and will run through Saturday.

Treyden is 10-month-old from Stratford undergoing treatment at St. Jude's hospital for (ALL) Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

The sale is April, 18th, 19th and 20th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4303 Augustine Ave. in Weston.
