A Vilas County woman is in the running to be a millionaire, but needs your help.
Karen Weber-Mendham, of Land O' Lakes is one of three finalists in the the Lay's potato chip “Do Us A Flavor” contest.
A judging panel chose Karen's Cheesy Garlic Bread flavor along with Chicken & Waffles and Sriracha flavored potato chips from nearly 3.8 million fan submissions gathered between July 20 and Oct. 6.
The thought behind Karen's submission was, “You're at your favorite Italian restaurant, you're starving & WAITING FOREVER. Finally, the breadsticks come & they save your life! Fun Fact:I dance in public to embarrass my children.”
The three contestants behind these finalist flavors are now vying for the chance to win $1 million in grand prize money or one percent of their flavor's 2013 net sales (whichever is higher). Through May 4, consumers can vote each day for their favorite finalist flavor on the Lay's Facebook page, via Twitter using the hashtag #SaveChickenWaffles, #SaveGarlicBread or #SaveSriracha, or via text message by texting "VOTE" to 24477 (CHIPS).

The winning flavor will be revealed in May and will remain on store shelves following the completion of the contest.
