Two people from Vilas County face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for their roles in the distribution of Oxycodeone.
Brandon Vetterneck, 37, and Lois Vetterneck, 54, both of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Madison to distributing Oxycodone. Brandon Vetterneck is the son of Lois Vetterneck.
In April 2013, two confidential informants separately purchased, on three occasions, Oxycodone from Brandon Vetterneck and Lois Vetterneck at their residence.
Brandon is scheduled to be sentenced May 30 and Lois is scheduled to be sentenced on June 10.
The charges against Brandon Vetterneck and Lois Vetterneck are the result of an investigation conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation; Lac du Flambeau Police Department; and the Vilas and Oneida County Sheriffs’ Departments.
