The Wausau Police Department has released new details about a crash that caused a vehicle to flip on its roof.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of N. 3rd Street and McIndoe.

Police say a woman was driving north on 3rd Street when she failed to yield at the flashing yellow light. Her vehicle was struck by a westbound driver, causing the Dodge Journey to rollover and stay on its roof.

One person was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The woman was issued a citation.
