More than 2,000 turned out to hear Vice President Joe Biden speak at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a day after his debate with Congressman Paul Ryan.

His speech Friday echoed his remarks in other appearances and the televised debate Thursday. Biden outlined what he called "fundamental differences" between President Barack Obama's agenda and that of former Gov. Mitt Romney. He highlighted foreign policy and women's rights but largely focusing on taxes and the impact on the middle class.

It was Biden's fourth trip to Wisconsin this year. Obama has twice stumped in Wisconsin during this campaign, including a rally in Madison after his own debate.

Romney's campaign spokesman in Wisconsin, Ben Sparks, told the La Crosse Tribune (http://bit.ly/SSBhdS) Biden offered no details of the administration's plans to create jobs.
