UW's Zagzebski Ready to Return After Injury Scare

Some news on the injury front for the Badgers.

Nose tackle Warren Herring is out 4-6 weeks after having surgery on his right knee Wednesday.

Fullback D.J. Watt is out until at least November with a foot injury, which means Northland Pines grad Austin Ramesh will be the starting fullback.

There is some good news.

DC Everest grad Konrad Zagzebski returned to practice Wednesday and will play Saturday against Western Illinois.

"Zags" was carted off the field after a blow to the head in the Badgers' loss to LSU.

He did say the whole left side of his body went numb for 2 hours.
