UW-Stevens Point Siblings Star in Rock of Ages Production
Two UW-Stevens Point grads will spend the next several months touring the county as cast members of the Rock of Ages musical.
Danny McHugh, 28, and his sister, Megan graduated from the school's theater program and have now gone on to star in the 80s musical comedy.
Danny says they really encourage the audience to get our their seats, sing and shout. He plays Drew, the wannabe rocker refers to himself as Wolfgang Von Colt.
Megan plays Regina, a city planner trying to save the Sunset Strip from being turned into a strip mall by developers.
“Rock of Ages” is an arena-rock love story told through the hits from Journey, Bon Jovi, Poison and many more.
The siblings are natives of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Rock of Ages is showing now through Sunday at the Overture in Madison.
