Students, family and faculty are celebrating as another class of graduates moves their tassel from the right to the left and received their diplomas.
UW Stevens Point held commencement ceremonies Saturday, graduating what they say is the largest spring semester graduating class in the history of the school. More than 1,400 graduates crossed the stage at the Multi-Activity Center on campus.
One graduate says despite the current job market, she feels hopeful about finding a job after graduation.
"I have to hope that if I keep doing things that I really love, and I show myself and my enthusiasm, that the job that I am supposed to have will come out of it," grauate Christine Sanderson explained.
Sanderson performed the National Anthem at one of the two ceremonies. She hopes to use her Spanish Language skills and her love of music to promote human rights around the world.
A big congratulations to everyone who graduated!
