UPDATE: No one injured in Overnight Situation at Kwik Trip in Weston

The Everest Metro Police Department has released new information about situation overnight at the Kwik Trip in Weston.

According to a press release, it was reported that an armed person entered Kwik Trip early Wednesday morning. Staff members were able to call 911. Police say staff members were allowed to exit the store and the armed person gave up the weapon without incident.

Police say no one was directly threatened and no one was injured.

Police say the individual is a minor, therefore a name will not be released.
