The Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce says 2012 was a record breaking year for the MDA Fall Ride. The event was held September 12-15. This was the 31st year for the annual event.
Beautiful fall weather is credited for bring the estimated 40,000 motorcycle riders to Tomahawk. The Fall Ride is also the largest fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, bringing in nearly $163,000.
Tomahawk business owners say it was a good boost to the local economy.
