UPDATE: Alcohol Believed to be Factor in Grand Rapids Motorcycle Crash

A 50-year-old man is serious condition after a motorcycle crash Sunday night in Wood County.

According to a new release from the Wood County Sheriff's Department, dispatch receive a call reporting the crash around 10 p.m. Investigators say the cyclist was traveling southbound on 80th Street south of Whitlock Avenue in Grand Rapids when he lost control.

The driver was transported to a Marshfield hospital by air ambulance.

The crash is still under investigation, however alcohol is believed to be a factor.
