UPDATE: 1 Killed in Oneida Co. House Fire ID'ed

UPDATE: Wed. 3:55 PM, Feb. 5, 2014

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department says the victim in an early morning fire Feb. 3, is a 24-year-old Tomahawk man.

Based on a forensic autopsy the human remains have been identified as Seth Fehr.

The fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal, Town of Cassian Fire Department, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office.

UPDATE: Tues 10:34 AM, Feb. 4, 2014

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department says an autopsy is scheduled for the victim of a house fire.

The victim's name is not being released at this time pending family notification.

Crews were called to 3892 Woodland Trail near Harshaw around 1 a.m. Monday.

Three people were able to escape. One of them was flown to Madison to be treated for burns.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department says one person is presumed missing following an early morning fire near Harshaw.

The department said in a news release, crews were paged to 3892 Woodland Trail in the Town of Cassian just before 1 a.m.

The house was engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived.

Three people did make it out of the home, one person was flown to Madison for injuries sustained in the fire. Another was treated for injuries at a local hospital and released.

The fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal, Town of Cassian Fire Department, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office
