Two people are injured after a crash in Marathon County.
Authorities on scene say the two vehicle crash happened around 5:30 on Highway 51 near mile marker 175, just south of Mosinee. Two people had to be transported to an area hospital for their injuries. Investigators are still trying to figure out just what caused the crash.
Tom Janssen with the Mosinee Fire Department told NewsChannel 7, "Basically there were two cars traveling southbound, had a rear-end collision in the passing lane, with the damage that occured to both vehicles."
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities did not know the extent of the injuries.
