A two-vehicle crash briefly restricted westbound lanes of traffic on US 8 at the on-ramp intersection with US 51 Sunday afternoon.
Just before 12:30 PM, a car was attempting to cross US 8 to get on to US 51 northbound. While crossing over the westbound lanes of traffic, the car struck another vehicle traveling westbound.
Five people in the striking vehicle and four from the other vehicle were treated on the scene by EMS and released.
The driver of the truck will be cited for a failure to yield to the right of way violation and for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office along with members of Tomahawk Fire, State Patrol and Tomahawk EMS responded to the crash.
