Two Local Fairs Open Up This Week

Some great family fun is on the horizon. A couple are fairs are getting ready to open their gates this week.

The Wisconsin Valley Fair kicks off Tuesday. The 6-day even is one of the largest county fairs in Wisconsin. It averages an attendance of 145,000 people. Daily admission is $9, kids under 10 are free. There is a discounted rate if you get there before Noon - it's just $5. The fair runs July 29th - August 3rd. The Lincoln County Fair opens Wednesday. While it will have all the classic attractions like a carnival, 4-h/FFA exhibits, and plenty of food and live entertainment; you can take a walk on the wild side with a new exhibit. There will be LIVE tiger demonstrations. Shows vary throughout the week, but the cats will be on display all week. The fair runs July 30th - August 3rd.
