The 33rd annual Wausau Triathlon was held at Sunnyvale Park. It brought athletes from all over to bike, swim, and run. However it’s not just about the competition or the challenge. Its about the sheer excitement of being together.
The focus of the event is on fundraising efforts for world service, social, and economic to help support people in need. Nearly 500 athletes and volunteers come to enjoy the race and all of its attractions.
Melanie Lemanski, race coordinator said, “Ton of fun and we have athletes from all over. A lot of the participants have been coming here for years so its fun for everyone involved.”
