UPDATE: Tues 9:20 AM, Oct. 29, 2013

A jury trial for a suspect in an alleged road rage incident occurring in December 2012, has been postponed after the defendant failed to make contact with the court Monday.

Jessica Ratliff, 27, of Menominee, Mich. was due in court Monday for a motion hearing. Ratliff's trial was scheduled to begin Tuesday.

Ratliff's attorney requested a bench warrant not be issued for her client as she had been in contact with her, however the court disagreed.

Jury trials for two people charged in a road rage incident last year in Wausau will take place in the next few weeks in Marathon County.

Nicholas Flanagan, 31, and Jessica Ratliff, 27, of Menominee, Mich., are both charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

Investigators say the couple rammed an Appleton man's SUV after he passed their van on highway 29 on December 4, 2012.

A 911 dispatcher told the Appleton man to pull off into Menards parking lot in Wausau to wait for police.

The man says Flanagan and Ratliff started to beat him and stab him with their keys, until he pulled his gun. Police say the man did have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

Ratliff's trial is scheduled to begin October 28 and will last two days. Flanagan's trial will begin November 19, and will also last two days.
